Briton Pedophile Faces Deportation

British national Kriss McCord finally faces deportation, following his arrest on 08 December 2006 in Llanera, Nueva Ecija.

McCord, in an attempt to prolong his stay in the Philippines, filed a petition for Writ of Amparo before the Court of Appeals questioning the legality of his arrest and asking for his subsequent release in March 2008. The Court denied the petition in favor of Respondents Bureau of Immigration (BI), Department of Justice (DOJ) and PCTC. The BI Board of Commissioners, finding sufficient grounds, issued the Summary Deportation Order on 28 February 2008.

Back in 2006, the PCTC, in collaboration with the BI, Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO) and Llanera Police Station arrested McCord by virtue of a Mission Order issued by the BI for being an undesirable and overstaying alien in the Philippines. Upon arrest, McCord presented a passport containing counterfeit balikbayan visa and immigration stamps.

McCord was convicted of three (3) counts of rape and four (4) counts of indecent assault before the Nottingham Crown Court in June 1999.
